Friends of CANZUK
“CANZUK, an old idea, a new opportunity.”
Conservative Friends of CANZUK is a grassroots organisation aiming to build support for a post-Brexit realignment of British foreign policy among Conservative Party members, MPs, peers and policy makers.
All the CANZUK overseas territories occupy vital positions along global chokepoints and seaways. They are inhabited by loyal subjects of the Crown who do not wish to be forced to join a foreign entity.
The Conservative Friends of CANZUK team were delighted to attend the ‘CPC ‘24’.
It is imperative that government proposes multilateral initiatives to create a formalised CANZUK alliance. CANZUK is the natural place for the UK to secure its interests.
'I am a great supporter of the principles behind CANZUK - it is an incredibly important alliance of like-minded nations that helps keep our country safe.'
The heart of CANZUK is a shared meta-identity: we may be Australians, Britons, Canadians, or New Zealanders, but we all share a common heritage. It is this which will give CANZUK its necessary strength.

With a cohesive economic model paired with significant maritime power projection, CANZUK remains an exciting yet realistic prospect for the future.
We are delighted to introduce our first Conservative Friends of CANZUK newsletter, and to celebrate our successes over our first year.
