Our Team
David Moore
Director and Co-Chair
David brings his deep knowledge of CANZUK and the issues surrounding it to his role as co-Chair of the Conservative Friends of CANZUK. He is committed to CANZUK advocacy within the Conservative Party, working with the Committee to ensure the Party is leading the way on this exciting prospect.
David initiated his CANZUK journey by authoring a dissertation which emphasised the imperative need for CANZUK and its impact on global security. In addition to being a policy spokesman for several Conservative organisations, he works for a political consultancy and is a county councillor.
Jamie Bartch
Director and Co-Chair
Jamie, the founding director of Conservatives for CANZUK, has been dedicated to the cause for over two years. Currently, he serves as co-chair for the newly established Conservative Friends of CANZUK. In the past, Jamie has actively promoted CANZUK through hosting events, bringing MPs together, and leveraging his role as a local councillor in Darlington, former cabinet member, and Conservative Party worker in the North of England.
Elliott Malik
Director and Secretary
Elliott is a passionate supporter of CANZUK, believing it to be the natural home for the CANZUK countries. As Secretary, he will ensure the machinery of the organisation is ready to promote CANZUK within the Conservative Party.
Elliott’s background is enmeshed in the law and politics, including being Called to the Bar before becoming a parliamentary staffer. He writes for a range of publications, discussing issues ranging from river de-canalisation to the role of faith in the reign of King Charles III. He will use these interests to advocate for the bolstering of our shared historical and cultural foundations.
Pierre-Louis Plumejeau-Wilby
Vice-Chair
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Pierre-Louis brings his intimate understanding of the familial ties which bind the four CANZUK nations. Plumejeau-Wilby believes that a great post-Brexit opportunity will be missed if the UK does not pursue CANZUK. It could be the envy of the world. Pierre-Louis will advocate for the revival of the close connections which we share, nurtured by a shared Head of State, legal system, and historical roots.
Plumejeau-Wilby’s background includes active participation in the Australian Monarchist League: defending Australia's constitutional heritage and our liberties under the Crown. He believes our heritage and liberties are better defended in unity.
Danielle Terry
Events & Fundraising Officer
Danielle brings her thorough knowledge of international law and trade to her role as the Events and Fundraising Officer for the Conservative Friends of CANZUK. A strong believer in CANZUK, Danielle values the strength of the idea, which is based on shared cultural values and underpinned by common law legal systems. Danielle’s is dedicated to empowering young Conservative women and fostering a new generation of leaders who share her vision for CANZUK.
